Eric Stewart founded Widow Care in 2013. He serves as board president and works alongside people committed to helping local widowed persons find connection, information, and support.

Our mission is to offer local-area widows and widowers a safe space where they can meet up on their own terms, share their personal experiences without judgment, and help themselves and each other move purposefully forward.
Our board
Widow Care is comprised of talented, genuine individuals who help carry out the mission. Many board members are widowed themselves and understand the challenges, heartbreak, and loneliness of widowhood.
Lynn Carta
Lynn is a research biologist transplanted from southern California. She lost her husband to cancer in 2013 and has served on the Widow Care Board of Directors since its creation.
Terry Bilbo
Terry is a visionary leader and currently serves as Chief Administrative Officer of Grant Thornton.
Gary Kline
Gary has helped organizations fundraise, expand donor bases, and launch new programs for over 25 years.
